Preparations are in full swing for this year’s Judith Chime Football Competition as the Foundation announces a renewed collaboration with the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, YSFON.
The annual tournament, founded by former Super Falcons player Judith Chime and held every December, aims to discover and nurture young female football talents across the country. Organizers say the core objective remains giving girls a platform to showcase their skills and receive support to pursue professional careers in football.
According to the Foundation, this year’s edition will benefit from YSFON’s experience as Nigeria’s oldest youth sports body. YSFON has pledged to align, partner and collaborate to ensure the competition delivers greater impact and wider reach.
“This year’s preparation is already underway and we are committed to making it a remarkable one,” the Foundation stated.
Judith Chime is now calling on well-meaning Nigerians, former footballers, football lovers and corporate organizations to support the initiative through sponsorship and partnership.
