Ahead of the Eye Classification Tests for T11/T13 Class which starts on Tuesday, 1st August, 2023, at the Faratory 1 Eye Clinic, Igbosere, Lagos State, the Nasarawa State Government bid farewell to eight of her para-athletes.
Consisting of six males, two females and the secretary of State Para Athletics Association, the Permanent Secretary of the State’s Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Barr Isaac Danladi, after a closed door meeting with the athletes in Lafia, said the Government placed great premium on them and admonished them to be good ambassadors of the State throughout the duration of the activity in Lagos.
Danladi reiterated Government’s continuous support to her athletes and personnel to create the mentality of podium appearance.
He thanked Governor Abdullahi Sule for graciously approving funds for the athletes to attend the programme.
Secretary of the Nasarawa State’s Disabled Sports, Patricia Oshuwayine, will lead the delegation to the programme.
