Mrs Betsy Obaseki the initiator of the Besty Obaseki Women Female Tournament (BOWFT) has extended her condolence greetings to the wife and family of veteran journalist Dapo Sotuminu.
According to a statement released and signed by the Chairperson of BOWFT Besty Obaseki: “I wish to extend our deepest condolences to you and your family, on the passing of your beloved husband, Mr Adedapo Olusanya Sotuminu”.
This statement reads that Mr Sotuminu is a valued member of the BOWFT organising committee, and a remarkable individual whose commitment and dedication left an indelible mark.
“Our tournament and everyone who was fortunate to work with him, his commitment to excellence, teamwork and women empowerment through sports was truly inspiring; and will be truly remembered for his legacy”.
Obaseki, says their thoughts and prayers are with Mrs Sotuminu during this difficult time.
“We mourn alongside you sharing in the sorrow of your loss, while also celebrating the life of a man that touch d the lives of many with kindness, wisdom and unwavering support”.
Concluding that God grant the family comfort and strength, and grant Mr Sotuminu rest in peace.
