The Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) marked Workers’ Day on May 1, 2025, with a special message from its Executive Chairman, Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello (Obe).

In his greeting, Bello wished workers a fruitful celebration, praying for prosperity, productivity, multiplication, and peace in all endeavors.

Under Bello’s leadership, the Ejigbo LCDA has prioritized workers’ welfare, implementing measures to ensure employees’ well-being and improve their work-life balance. This includes creating a positive work environment and offering programs that address mental and physical health concerns.

The chairman believes that prioritizing welfare can improve employee productivity, reduce turnover, and foster a more positive and engaged workforce.

Bello’s administration has not limited its support to the formal sector alone. Through accelerated infrastructural developments in the LCDA, a conducive environment has been secured for informal sectors, including artisans, traders, and business persons.

This holistic approach demonstrates the council’s commitment to the well-being of all workers in the community. On this Workers’ Day, Bello expressed his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of workers in the LCDA.

His message serves as a morale boost to workers, acknowledging their contributions to the growth and development of the community.
